The beginning of October marks the start of one of Austin's biggest music events: Austin City Limits Music Festival, or ACL. The "Live Music Capital of the World" hosts a multitude of artists across various genres of music for two weekends in October and it's a huge deal for Austin. Whether this is your first time at the festival or you're an ACL veteran, aside from enjoying all of the amazing talent throughout the weekend across 8 different stages, you can't forget about the EATS! ACL serves as an opportunity for locals and out of towners to enjoy some of Austin's favorite bites whilst jamming out to your heart's contentThere is a long list of available food vendors for both weekends. But which ones should you definitely spend your time waiting in line for? Don't worry, fam, I got youHere are my picks for on-site dining at the festival:

Kimchi Fries at Chi'Lantro BBQ
A classic and Austin staple. Fries topped with caramelized kimchi, your choice of meat (I'd go with the bulgogi beef), cheese, sriracha, cilantro and their magic sauce. If that doesn't sound delicious, I don't know what does. Thank me later, fam

Literally ANYTHING at JuiceLand
You honestly can't go wrong with anything off their menu. Whether you're in the mood for a juice or smoothie, something green or fruity, they have a little bit of something from everyone! I can say that there isn't anything I haven't tried that I don't like

Tacos from The Peached Tortilla
You'll thank me later when you try their bánh mì taco. Trust me. Or if you're not in the mood for a taco or want to get a taco elsewhere, try the bacon fries. 'Nuff said

Acai Bowls at Blender and Bowls
Depending on how hungry you are, an acai bowl from here can double as a snack or a meal. I usually go with the Bowl of Paradise, but you can't go wrong with the OG either

Fried Avocado on Corn from Torchy's Tacos
I order this from Torchy's RELIGIOUSLY. Need a vegetarian option? This is it, fam. Fresh avocados are battered & fried to perfection, topped with refried beans, pico de gallo, lettuce, cheese and poblano sauceimage courtesy of Sara C./Yelp
A Sno Cone from Sno Beach
All that dancing, coupled with long hours out in the sun, you're definitely going to need a sweet treat to keep you cool. Sno Cones from here are a MUST and they are definitely #instaworthyimage courtesy of Maritza L./Yelp
Ice Cream from Amy's Ice Cream
Handcrafted ice cream, dairy-free fruit ices and frozen yogurt. Something sweet and cool for everyone. Do NOT miss out on their Mexican Vanilla. Add in your choice of crush-ins (I recommend bananas and coconut shavings) and you're good to go!Now you're probably wondering, "Okay, I got the food down, but what about the drinks?" I cannot stress how important it is to STAY HYDRATED throughout the weekend. There are multiple hydration stations located throughout the park so you better drink water. As for us 21+, don't worry, ACL has plenty of bars to keep the party going. Beer, wine, mixed drinks, ACL has got them all. Don't forget to drink responsibly! As a reminder, food vendors this year will take cash, credit, debit and ACL cashless payments through activated wristbands. ATMs will also be located throughout the park. Now that I've prepared you for indulgence, party on, friendsWhich artists are you excited to see this year? Drop me a comment, fam! With love,Jin
