Welcome to Yoshi Ramen Austin

If you haven't already heard, there's a new kid on the block to the ramen game in Austin. Their name is Yoshi Ramen Austin, sister restaurant to Veggie Heaven. Located in a developing commercial area of Cherrywood is this small, but welcoming eatery that you might want to consider to give a try.The Austin ramen scene has a few big names that Yoshi Ramen has to compete with, but that doesn't mean this newbie doesn't belong on your ramen rotation. I'm a tried and true fan of miso ramen so I obviously had to try the Miso Dynamite, their spicy version of my go-to ramen. Broth? Delicious. Noodles? Great texture. Verdict? Yep yep yep! I definitely recommend this one.So here is where things get interesting. Yoshi Ramen serves ramen burgers. If you're like me and are intrigued by food fusions, give this a shot if you're curious. Unfortunately, for my taste, this just wasn't up my alley. I'm just not a burger fan and the deep fried noodle buns were too crispy. And to be completely honest, eating the damn thing was a struggle. Would I order this again? Probably not.So here's my final opinion. Make a visit. DO try their noodle dishes. I'm an honest fan of those. If you're not in the mood for ramen, they have plenty of broth-less ramen dishes to choose from. You can skip the burger, especially if you're hungry. Their menu caveats that it takes about 15 minutes for the burgers to come out so expect to wait. They also have a HUGE menu that caters to both meat lovers and vegans alike so you're bound to find something you will genuinely enjoy! What's your favorite ramen flavor and add-ins? Drop me a comment! With Love,Jin
